Massachusetts man rescued after vehicle falls into flooded hidden sinkhole

WORCESTER, MA. (WPVI) -- Public safety officials always say "turn around, don't drown," but this Massachusetts driver didn't get the message.

He plowed his pickup through floodwaters from a water main break, and his vehicle fell into a hidden sinkhole.

The incident occurred Tuesday in Worcester.

The driver managed to climb onto the roof of his truck and waited until rescuers could get him to safety.
