AIM Academy makes an impact on students with learning differences

Saturday, October 11, 2025
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Pat Roberts and Nancy Blair created the school they wish they had when their children were growing up with learning differences.

It started in 2006 as the 'Academy in Manayunk,' then became 'AIM Academy' upon moving to Conshohocken in 2012.

They wanted to take research-based methods to help students with learning differences and fast-track them into practice.

At AIM Academy, students are placed in small classroom settings with immersive educational experiences.

Roberts and Blair also decided to share their evidence-based instructions with teachers across the country with the online 'AIM Institute for Learning and Research.'

During the 2025-2026 school year, AIM Academy is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Watch the video above to see how AIM has made a difference for two students.
