Emotional homecoming for WWII POW as remains returned to family in Pennsylvania after 80 years

ANNVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- United States Army Air Forces Warrant Officer William McMichael of Boyertown, Berks County was killed while being held as a prisoner of war in 1945 during World War II.

In April 2025, DNA testing was used to identify his remains, and after 80 years, he was finally brought home to his family.
