Diagnosed with autism as a child, she found success in the life skills program at Norwood School. Now, she gives back as a school assistant during recess and lunch.
Hagarty joined the Special Olympics last year, participating in swimming and volleyball. She said it helped her find new friends when she needed them most.
This year, she is excited to train to become a global messenger, providing speeches and advocating for inclusivity.
Recently, she provided a speech to students at Norwood School on those very topics.
