PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel recognized dozens of individuals for their commitment to improving safety and well-being in neighborhoods across the city.
Sixty-one people were honored Thursday evening during the Philadelphia Police Department's Community Partnership Awards Ceremony.
Bethel said the honorees' volunteerism, leadership and collaboration with police have played an important role in making Philadelphia a safer city.
