3 suspects sought after man shot, woman assaulted in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people are on the run after shooting a man and assaulting a woman in front of a corner store in West Philadelphia.

Police say it happened at North 52nd and Jefferson around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Police responded to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for a shooting victim.

When they arrived, they found at 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was placed in critical condition.

Officers are looking for two men in connection with the case.
