It happened just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on West Chester Pike and Dutton Mill Road.
Chopper 6 over the scene showed at least four vehicles involved.
At least four people were taken to Paoli Hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
West Chester Pike was closed in both directions near the accident scene during the investigation.
