NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Two people had to jump from a window to escape a fire in Bear, Delaware early Friday morning.
One of them had to jump from a second-story window to escape the flames.
The Action Cam was at the Appleby Apartments on the 500 block of Bedford Lane in New Castle at 2:00 a.m. Friday.
Firefighters say the blaze broke out on the second floor and spread to the third.
Crews rescued one man who suffered from smoke inhalation.
The other person jumped to safety but ended up twisting an ankle.
Both are said to be okay.
The fire is blamed on unattended cooking.
