Drexel defeats NC-Wilmington

Frank Elegar scored a game-best 21 points and Drexel defeated North Carolina-Wilmington 70-60, giving coach Bruiser Flint his 200th career victory.

Scott Rodgers added 13 points for the Dragons, who opened the second half with a 15-3 run, punctuated by Evan Neisler's layup with 10:55 remaining. That gave Drexel its first lead of the game at 41-40. Drexel went on to outscore the Seahawks 45-26 in the second half.

T.J. Carter scored 18 points to lead North Carolina-Wilmington.

Flint, in his seventh year at Drexel, improved to 114-80. He was 86-72 in five seasons at Massachusetts.
