Former U.S. Senator and basketball Hall of Famer Bill Bradley is the latest celeb on Barack Obama's bench. The Democrat from New Jersey has endorsed the Illinois senator.

A onetime presidential candidate himself, Bradley cites Obama's ability to bring people together for change.

Bradley says Obama is building a bipartisan coalition that is bringing back idealism to politics.

Bradley sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2000, but lost to then-vice president Al Gore.

Bradley represented New Jersey in Washington from 1979-1997.
