Police say a former York County teacher drove to a Delaware County diner for what he thought would be a date with a woman and her 7- and 9-year-old daughters for sex.

Now the 66-year-old retired teacher, Lowell Hanna, of Spring Grove, is under arrest on charges including criminal solicitation to rape. District Judge Kenneth Miller has ordered him held on 10 percent of $750,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for Monday.

Authorities say the woman the retired industrial arts teacher linked up with online actually is a detective with the Delaware County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Officials say Hanna showed up with gifts including video games, a Christmas card, about a dozen bottles of wine, Viagra and condoms.
