Corzine: State debt jeopardizing tax relief

Governor Corzine told New Jersey's mayors that property tax relief and state aid would be at risk if the state's debt isn't cut. The mayors were at the Statehouse for their annual legislative day.

Corzine has proposed raising tolls to pay down debt and fund transportation projects.

Corzine says cutting property tax rebates would be among his last choices.

Brick Township Mayor Steve Acropolis worries that Garden State Parkway toll increases would unfairly hurt Monmouth and Ocean county residents.
