Harrisburg, January 21, 2008 They may be aided by a weak dollar that makes American goods
cheaper overseas.
For example, Holtec International's suburban Pittsburgh plant
makes shipping and handling products for nuclear waste. The copmany
has added dozens of workers in the past year as nuclear power plant
licenses are being extended in the United States and new plants are
being built overseas. A company official says Holtec's biggest
problem is finding enough workers.
