Dover police say a convenience store employee took a shotgun away from two would-be robbers and ran them out of the store.

Police say the clerk was working at the Little Grocer on East Division Street Sunday night when two teens walked in. They allegedly demanded money and pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and pointed it at the clerk.

But police say the clerk refused to hand over any money and grabbed the shotgun from the teen.

Then, after a brief struggle, the store clerk had control of the situation and police say the two teens ran away.
