The accident happened along Route 1 in Bear, Delaware Saturday night.
Paul Rizzo, 20, of Wilmington was killed. Police say Rizzo's car crossed into the northbound lanes of Route 1 in bear an collided with an SUV that was traveling from Route 1 to Route 40.
The SUV then was struck by a van that was traveling behind it.
Rizzo died at the scene.
Several people in both the van and the SUV were treated for injuries and released.
Police are still checking to see if alcohol was involved in the crash.
