Car crash lands a few inches from gas pump

Firefighters had to cut a victim out of the car.

A dangerous game of inches played out in Hunting Park early Monday morning.

It happened just after 12:30 A.M. at Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue.

A car went out of control, hit another car, then ricocheted into a gas station.

The vehicle landed just a few inches from a gas pump.

Firefighters had to cut open the car to pull the injured driver out.

The 67-year-old man was taken to the hospital for leg and ankle injuries.
