Action News confirmed the fatality just before 11:30 a.m.
The fire hit in Aston Township on the 100 block of Moser Avenuein Delaware County around 9 a.m.
Officials tell Action News that several firefighters were trapped inside the burning home. Two of them made it out on their own. A third had to be removed by fellow firefighters.
After the injured firefighter was brought out, they had to perform CPR on him.
In all, four firefighters had to be transported for medical treatment.
