State Police say troopers used a stun gun to subdue a 19-year-old New Castle man who became disorderly at Christiana Mall and fled resisted arrest. Police say when Ramon Falcon became disorderly, troopers told him to leave and tried to escort him out. But police say Falcon became verbally abusive, yelling racial slurs in the crowded mall, and ran out to the mall parking lot, resisting arrest.

That's when police say troopers used the Taser to stun Falcon and took him into custody.

Falcon is charged with resisting arrest, two counts of offensive touching of a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and committed to Howard Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $4,500 secured bond.
