Police say the school bus was pulling out of Christiana Meadows when a Honda Accord traveling northbound on Route 7 ran a red light and hit the bus.
Three students, two 16-year-old girls and a 17-year-old girl, were taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment with minor injuries.
Police have charged the driver of the Honda, 22-year-old Christopher Truesdale of Bear, with issued a traffic citation for disregarding a red light.
