The former president of the Atlantic City School Board has been convicted of bribery. An Atlantic County jury on Friday found 34-year-old Cornell Davis guilty of one count of bribery in connection with the awarding of an adult vocational training contract in 2005.

The jury found that Davis accepted more than $200 in bribes.

But it acquitted him of another charge in which he was accused of trying to shake down a Camden businessman.

Prosecutors say he'll will face up to 10 years in prison at his sentencing, scheduled for June.
