Police cars collide, damage home

Philadelphia police officers responding to a call ended up in need of help themselves.

They were hurt when their police cruisers collided in Olney early Saturday morning.

The crash happened on the 6100 block of Fourth Street at Godfrey.

According to officials, the officers sustained minor injuries and have been released from the hospital.

Reports indicate that one car stopped to make a turn and the other car swerved around, sriking the car

The impact of the crash sent one of the police cars careening into a home.

Three adults and two children had to be evacuated from the home.

Licensing and Inspections were on the scene and the three occupants of the building have since returned.
