Delaware State Police say a phone call links 30-year-old Jason L. MacLeish of Wilmington to the armed robbery of a cab driver on Saturday.

Police were called to Route 40 and Wilton Boulevard on Saturday April 19th, to a report of a robbery. When they arrived troopers were told that a Yellow Cab taxi had been called to pick up a fare at a business at that location.

According to the driver, a man got into rear seat and then pulled a gun and demanded money. The driver handed over the money and the man fled on foot. The driver was not injured.

Police were able to get the phone number from which the original call for the cab was made and trace it to Jason L. MacLeish, of 37th Street in Wilmington. He is now wanted for 1st degree robbery.

Anyone with information about MacLeish's whereabouts can call Troop 2 at 302-834-2620 ext. 513, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
