George DuBois' pet is this year's "Beautiful Bulldog."
The 3-year-old canine topped 50 contenders at yesterday's bulldog beauty pageant in Des Moines, Iowa.
The annual contest is one of the events leading up to the Drake Relays.
Buddy didn't have to enhance his natural good looks.
Some of the competition wore costumes, ranging from Mr. T to a fairy princess.
But not Buddy.
Saturday he gets to ride into Drake Stadium before 18,000 fans.
