Mother who kiled son sentenced

FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - May 2, 2008 A judge in Monmouth County sentenced Kathlene DeMichele to 30 years behind bars without parole.

DeMichele told the judge she loves her son and knows he's not coming back.

After murdering Charles in March 2007, DeMichele tried to kill herself.

She says she's now on medication for depression.
