Keep your skivvies on in this town

If you're strolling the streets of Brattleboro, Vermont, better keep your skivvies on.

The Wall Street Journal reports policeman Robert Perkins recently issued a warning to a nude man standing near the tourist information kiosk.

The naked guy risked a $25 ticket. Officer Perkins says the man apparently didn't know Brattleboro had recently outlawed public nudity.

There's no state law against non-private displays of private parts.

The local Selectboard acted after complaints about naked people hanging out downtown.

One board member says if the current ordinance doesn't force people to stay dressed, they might have up the penalty for dropping drawers.
