A nice thing about the dew point is that it's very easy to use, when it comes to judging whether it's sticky outside. Because the dew point values always indicate the same level of moisture in the air, a certain feel can be attributed to certain dew points.
On Action News, we often talk about this, especially in the summer. A dew point below 60-degrees is fairly comfortable. From 60 to 65, it's starting to feel a bit humid to most people. From 65 to 70, it's noticeably humid for nearly everyone. 70 and up is oppressively humid for nearly everyone.
