Five teens will be tried for allegedly attacking a killing a man on a SEPTA subway concourse.

The male teens are charged with third-degree murder and conspiracy. They remain in custody, and have been ordered to house arrest if they make the approximately $35,000 bail.

The teens are charged with conspiring to kill Sean Patrick Conroy, a 36-year-old coffee shop manager. Police say Conroy was chosen at random in the March attack in the downtown concourse.

A medical examiner ruled the death a homicide after the autopsy showed Conroy died of asthma, with blunt force injuries a contributing factor.
