Phillies Play Marlins Tonight in Florida

The Philadelphia Phillies have been atop the NL East for the past six weeks, but suddenly they have some company. They had a season-high four-game lead on June 14, but they've lost 15 of 26 since then and are now tied with the New York Mets for first place.

The Phils open the second half of their season tonight with a three-game road series against the Marlins in Florida.

Philadelphia won the division last season thanks to a late-season collapse by the Mets.

But the Marlins are also right in the thick of the division race. They're just 1 1/2 games out of first after finishing last in the East a year ago.

Philadelphia has been a strong team after the All-Star break the past few years. They had the NL's second-best second-half record last season and in 2006.
