Does the moon influence our weather?

No, but it has an effect on the ocean!

Erica's Answer:

The moon's gravity pulls ocean water on Earth toward whatever side of Earth that the moon is on. In addition, the Earth's centrifugal force, which opposes the force of the Moon's gravity, causes that same buildup of water on the other side of Earth. That's why high and low tide times correspond with the moon's orbit around Earth.

High tide is always occurring in two places on Earth at any given time. If you see the Moon directly over us, you can be certain that high tide is occurring in our area!
