One dead in car-truck crash

UPPER CHICHESTER, Pa. - July 24, 2008 Police say it happened just after 8 p.m. in the 600-block of Conchester Highway.

The car, which sustained significant damage, came to rest on the shoulder of the road. The tanker left the roadway, coming to rest in an adjacent wooded area. The victim's name has not been released, and police continue to investigate how the accident occurred.
