The Coast Guard says it rescued two people from a 19-foot boat which broke down near the Coast Guard's Indian River station. A Coast Guard rescue crew on a training exercise Thursday afternoon spotted the two people waving their arms aboard the boat near the Indian River Inlet sea wall.

The crew towed the disabled boat away from the sea wall and back to North Shore Marina.

A Coast Guard spokesman says the boat was having engine problems.
