Joseph Alston was the guest honor at the family home on Linton Street, along with his fiance Matina Mantzouris.
Both are army veterans. The couple met in Iraq during their most recent tour of duty and got engaged.
They returned home last week.
Friday night was the first time Joseph's family got to see the couple and celebrate their engagement since their return.
