The car was found in the nearby Castlebrook Apartment complex. Witnesses say they saw a young man wearing red shorts and a white t-shirt running from the vehicle.
The elderly man was treated at Christiana Hospital for bruises and a shoulder injury.

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - August 19, 2008 Police say the elderly man was in LLangollen Estates on Sunday,
delivering food to a friend, when he was attacked from behind and
knocked unconscious. When he regained consciousness, his keys and
car were gone.
