Police say a wrong-way driver on busy Route 22, who was fleeing police during Tuesday afternoon's rush hour, triggered a crash that left 2 dead. Police say Jolene Labar, 31, of Washington Township, N.J., who was driving her car in the eastbound lanes and the man who was driving a pick-up west in the eastbound lanes of 22 both died.

The back end of Labar's Honda Civic was all that was left intact of Labar's car. The pickup truck pushed the Civic into a third car before the truck flipped over onto its roof.

Labar died at the scene of the accident. The pickup truck driver survived, but later died at the hospital. His name has not yet been released. A female passenger in the pick-up truck is hospitalized in critical condition. Her name has not been released.

Route 22 was reopened to traffic around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.
