Phillies activate Pedro Feliz from 15-day DL

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - August 20, 2008 Relief pitcher Les Walrond was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Feliz, who was battling a bulging disk in his lower back, was placed on the disabled list on July 29. He was sent on a rehabilitation assignment on Sunday, and hit two home runs that day for Double-A Reading.

Feliz was hitting .256 with 12 homers and 46 RBIs with the Phillies this season.

Walrond was 0-1 with a 7.11 ERA in four relief appearances.
