Police say the first crime happened on August 11th just before 4:00 p.m. Thompson allegedly entered Artisans' bank at 4901 Kirkwood Highway in Newark and demanded cash from the teller. The teller didn't give him any, and other employees confronted the suspect who fled the business without any cash.
A second incident also occurred on August 11th at about 11:00 p.m. The suspect had entered the Exxon at 4000 Ogletown Road in Newark and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash.
The third incident was reported on August 15th, shortly after midnight. Police believe Thompson robbed the 7-Eleven at 5601 Kirkwood Highway, using a gun and made away with a small amount of money.
Thompson is locked up.
