We told you earlier this week the country's largest candy maker - Hershey - is raising its prices by 11 percent.

Mars is the second largest candy maker and says it's raising prices to offset higher costs of raw materials, packaging, and energy.

It also says it will cut back on the volume in some of its packages.

The company makes Dove, Milky Way, Skittles, and Starburst brands as well.

The Food Bank of Delaware opened a new store this week.

The Market at the Food Bank sells food as well as cosmetics and cleaning supplies at 50 to 75-percent off retail prices.

The bank bought the food from national retailers and wholesalers.. Much of it is dented and dinged, seasonal items, or close to their expiration dates. But the Food bank says it all meets USDA requirements and is safe to eat. Proceeds from the Market benefit the Bank's hunger relief efforts.

The store is at 14 Garfield Way in Newark.
