Base jumper's bad landing caught on tape

September 4, 2008 As Hans Lange neared the end of his drop, something went wrong. A camera strapped to his helmet captured his "brush with disaster."

He says his trajectory took him in the wrong direction, and when his parachute opened... he started hitting rocks.

Lange ended up stuck in a tree, and was airlifted to a hospital. He broke his leg, but says he feels lucky that it wasn't worse.

He also says he'll likely jump again.
