Pizza delivery man arrested... Again

NEW CASTLE CO., Del. - September 4, 2008 - Investigators in New Castle County, Delaware say Joel Stevenson, 40, of Newark was arrested early Wednesday morning for disorderly conduct, DUI and drug offenses.

Police say he had delivered a pizza to a home and, when the customer failed to tip him, Stevenson returned and started spinning his wheels and honking his horn in a cul-de-sac around 2:10 in the morning.

Officers say he told them he had returned to the area to intentionally disturb the customer's sleep and to let neighbors know what she did.

Then, police say, after being released later Wednesday morning, Stevenson scratched two cars belonging to public safety employees with his keys, damaging the paint.

Authorities say Stevenson was arrested again after he returned to the police station Thursday afternoon to obtain release papers for his pickup truck, which was towed after he was charged with DUI.
