Man survives robbery, shooting

NEWARK, Del. - September 11, 2008 - Investigators say the man was leaving for work just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to police, he was then attacked by a man with a gun. That man shoved the victim to the ground, and stole some cash. During the assault, he fired a shot, which hit the victim on the side of the head. The bullet just grazed his head, and he was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Police have only a vague description of the suspect.
