A spokesperson for the Department of Agriculture said at least one sample of the raw milk from 'Hendricks Farms and Dairy' that was submitted by a consumer who got sick, has tested positive for campylobacter bacteria. That bacteria can cause severe illness.

The raw milk sold at Hendricks (in Montgomery County) is suspected to be the culprit for making at least nine people sick. But other tests by the Department of Agriculture, done at the farm, have come up negative.

The owner of the farm, Trent Hendricks, also had independent testing done on his product and equipment and said those results are also negative for bacteria.

The Department of Agriculture will continue testing at the farm. Right now, the sale of raw milk at Hendricks is still suspended.
