Catholic school construction near Philly on track

ROYERSFORD, Pa. - September 18, 2008 - Pope John Paul II High School in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, is to open in 2010.

It is to replace Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic High School in Norristown and Saint Pius X High School in Pottstown.

The school is to have room for 1,200 students and is designed so it can be expanded if needed.

Another new Catholic high school is planned to open in 2012 in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, provided funding can be secured.
