Smith played in 76 games as a rookie, averaging 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game. In the Las Vegas Summer League, he posted averages of 18.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.0 block.
76ers' Smith undergoes knee surgery

Smith tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while
doing drills in Las Vegas on Aug. 6. No timetable has been set for
his return.
