A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital early Friday morning, after getting shot in the stomach while walking down a Southwest Philadelphia street.
Police say the 18-year-old was wounded at about 2:15 A.M. at 54th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard, then managed to make her way to 54th and Grays.
Police and medics found her there and took her to the hospital where surgeons spent several hours trying to save her life.
There's no word yet on her condition.
Police have not indicated if they have found any suspects or motives.
