Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy for vandalizing 19 Dover businesses with graffiti.

The teen is accused of writing the word "poop" in spray paint.

Lt. Paul Bernat of the Dover police says the boy was apparently inspired by the cartoon show "SpongeBob." Police also believe he was part of a graffiti war, leaving his mark over someone else's graffiti.

Police are still looking for the second offender.

The most recent damage occurred Sept. 9. The total damage is estimated at nearly $4,500.
