Heavy smoke was showing throughout the 3-story building when firefighters arrived. However, attention was focused on the apartments above Meadowlane BBQ Chicken restaurant. The apartment above the store was vacant.
The fire marshal's office has determined that the fire was intentionally set inside the store on the first floor of the building. There are no suspects at this time.
