Police say 45-year-old Alfonso Rondo walked into a rear yard there, grabbed the boy, and started walking down the street.
Police say neighbors Willa Gains and Ida Slade confronted Rondo, who let the boy go. A third neighbor called police.
According to investigators, Rondo was a complete stranger. He did not know the boy, or his family, in any way.
