The officer killed was 30 year old Patrick McDonald. 35 year old Richard Bowes was shot and wounded in the hip.
For now, police are not saying why, but they have released a description of a vehicle they are looking for.
The vehicle is described as:
Red or Burgundy Buick
1995 model year
PA license plate: GVH 7189
