Delaware State Police say no children on a school bus were hurt Friday morning after the bus hit an out-of-control trailer near Bear. Police say 17-year-old Ife Ologbauma failed to stop at Route 9 and Malcolm Forest Road. Twenty-eight-year-old Harry Kendall was driving a truck south on Route 9 and hit Ologbauma's small SUV about 7 a.m.

Next, police say a trailer attached to Kendall's truck spun into Route 9's northbound lane, right in front of a school bus 69-year-old Janet Bitner was driving.

Kendall and Ologbauma were taken to Christiana Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Bitner and the children on the bus were not injured.

Ologbauma was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.
