Cars stuck in floodwaters

BENSALEM, Pa. - September 28, 2008 At around 5:00 p.m., rescue crews were called out to Cedar Avenue in Croyden for a vehicle stuck in the floodwaters.

When the crews arrived, the people in the vehicles were able get out on their own.

Minutes later, crews were called out to Station Avenue in Bensalem.

A passing firefighter noticed people stuck in a car while they were trying to drive through the high water.

The Chief dispatched the marine boat and pulled the passenger and driver out of the vehicle to safety.
